The new 2024 Ford Mustang GT Dark Horse will be powered by Ford’s venerable 2.3-litre EcoBoost and 5-litre V8 petrol engines. The Performance Pack adds a plethora of track-focused equipment, such as an upper strut brace, Brembo brakes, sports seats, and an active exhaust system.
The 2024 Mustang GT Dark Horse isn’t just about raw power; it’s also engineered for precision handling and a dynamic driving experience. Ford’s cutting-edge suspension system and performance-tuned components allow for agile cornering and exceptional control, giving drivers the confidence to tame this wild steed on any terrain.

The 2022 Detroit Motor Show saw the debut of the redesigned Ford Mustang. The seventh-generation (S650) sports vehicle has a more angular front end, tri-element LED headlights, and a redesigned front grille design. It sports a sleeker body that was influenced by the original 1960s model.
The inside of the 2017 Mustang has also been revamped, with a new curved display panel housing the 12.4-inch driver’s instruments and 13.2-inch infotainment screens. It receives a row of buttons behind the central air vents to manage various functions in the car, but the AC controls have been relocated to the screen.
2024 Ford Mustang GT Dark Horse: Rawness

The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is as mean as factory horses come. It’s the most powerful naturally aspirated Coyote V8 we’ve ever seen in a Mustang, and Ford claims it’s the most track-ready version of the seventh-generation car to date. Ford Racing is going all in on track variants like the GT3, GT4, and now the new Dark Horse R, thanks to its fantastic base.
The Ford Mustang Dark Horse R is essentially a ready-to-race race car for consumers who want to spend their weekends at the track. The R preserves many of the same characteristics that made the normal Dark Horse so amazing, but with some track-specific racing accents.

The engine is the same naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 found in the road version, but it has been tuned to produce “500+ horsepower.” For enhanced safety and capacity, the powertrain receives an updated oil system, gearbox cooling, differential cooling, a Borla race exhaust system and a fuel cell.
