According to some of the pictures, the Harley-Davidson X 440 appears to have incredible lean angles, which could indicate a sporty personality. Hero and Harley-Davidson have unveiled the X440, their first brand-new motorcycle. Upon launch, it will compete with Royal Enfield motorcycles. This reasonably priced Harley-Davidson Roadster has a bigger engine than a Royal Enfield, in typical American style. The 440 in X440 will be its displacement, judging by previous Harley offerings.
Although there are currently no available official output numbers, it is likely that this engine will reach higher peak output values than the Royal Enfield Classic 350 (20hp, 27Nm).

Harley X440 : Design & Styling
Launch of the New Harley Davidson X440 The muscular fuel tank, round headlight, round speedometer perched atop the headlight, wide handlebars, and few body panels all bear a striking resemblance to Harley’s Nightster. A horizontal pill-shaped element above the ring-shaped LED projectors in the headlight that read “Harley-Davidson” is added. A nice touch is the inclusion of the Harley-Davidson logo in the circular turn indicators. An LED tail light in the form of a pill is present at the back. It appears that the circular instrument cluster is a bad LCD unit. But we’re hoping it’s a TFT device with Bluetooth connectivity for calls, notifications, and navigation.
This reasonably priced Harley-Davidson appears to be a scaled-down Iron 883 from many perspectives. When it comes to the engine, this might be literally true. This new powertrain may also be used by Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming Xpulse.

Harley X440 : Pricing
Given the increased displacement and Harley-Davidson logo, we anticipate it to cost between Rs. 50K and Rs. 80K more than Royal Enfield’s 350cc lineup. Given that there are already many Royal Enfield motorcycles on the road, that is not a bad idea. However, the novelty factor is not as high as it once was.
The Harley-Davidson X 440 offers a good value with a base variant costing about Rs. 2.5 lakh and a top-spec variant costing about Rs. 3 lakh. Its official distributor in India is Hero MotoCorp. The Harley-Davidson X440 is distinct from the recent Chinese motorcycle launches of the X350 and X500. These are unique to China and are based on QJ motorcycles.
